MAtt Damon had nothing to do with making bourne franchise or any of those other movies great. It was all script/cinematography/director. The movies you're describing have Matt Damon pretty much playing the exact same type of character. He just made better choices with scripts but his acting is fucking same every movie. Go see Elysium... His character looks very familiar.
I'm not saying Ben Affleck is the shit or a great actor, but the man tries more things and has a wider acting range than Matt Damon. Matt Damon would do a wonderful Batman too. We're bitching here like Batman needs to be a good actor...Any bum off the street would be able to play Batman.
Also I doubt anyone cares about who plays Batman at this point. Michael Keaton was THE Batman, then when Val Kilmer took over ot was somewhat interesting and worth discussig. By now, no one cares...
BEN ASSFLECK???? There goes the only series of movies from comics that was actually very good... Might as well give the role to Steven Seagal...
Unless they want to make a South Park Batman spoof, that would be great, and Assfleck-Batman doing cheesy good deeds to seek revenge for his slain ass-faced parents could be a wickedly humiliating amusing mockery.

Steven Segal as Batman would be one hell of an enjoyable movie...

Well, taking it as a spoof he didn't actually mean it to be, yes!
Obviously with his mandatory baddies' fingers breaking signature bat-move.

Yep. It would be something you'd never expect to see in a movie like Batman.
They could make a Van Damme version too where he has a twin long lost at birth that grew up in the hood and isn't rich. He too is batman but he uses trash cans as his armor and paper bags as his mask.
I know I'll get some flack for this, but it's nice to have an American playing an American created superhero again. I also realize that many of them are actually citizens now, but it just seems to be exaggerated how few of these actors were born American. Previously in the Batman series alone, we had Batman, Alfred, Scarecrow, Bane (he should have been played by someone of South American descent), Ra Al Ghul, Miranda, Falcone, Jim Gordan, and the Joker, all played by foreign actors, as well as the director.
Not to mention we have Superman, Spider-Man, Wolverine and Thor, Punisher, Mr. Fantastic plus Magneto (old and young), Professor X (old and young), and that is not even getting into some of the more minor heroes throughout superhero films much less the villians.
Don't get me wrong they are for the most part talented actors, bleh on Andrew Garfield, but then you got a franchise like Harry Potter and they actually had to research every actors past to make sure they were of full English ancestry, God forbid one of the 8 movies has an American in it, but that won't stop them from peddling it to us.
Argo, people. Surely he's earned a second chance by now...

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
