I wouldn't be surprised if we see a indie game bundle like we saw with Flower, Journey, and Flow at retail. It would be smart. It would be cheap. It would be profitable. And it would be a system seller for those who doubt the power of indies.

QD own words...
"We did an indie game with the financial support of a Triple A title. I don't see Heavy Rain as an achievement, I see it as a first step."
Yes.

It is not. HR is QD's IP.

Isn't the Heavy Rain IP owned by Sony?
Of course that doesn't mean the studio isn't independant.

Technically, no. Their games are still published (key word) by Sony Computer Entertainment. So while they have a lot of freedom to create what they want, their IPs are still tied to a specific publisher. They still have to answer to Sony. |
Check Ethomaz's post. I'm totally confused now.

Forget what I said then. Still, they are independant developers though. I just wasn't sure if the game itself was.

That's why I asked for Quantic Dream specifically. They have stated several times that they work with Sony just because they think they're the best publisher, not because they have a contract with them. They (Quantic Dreams) own all their IPs.
