I love to see movies. I wonder when the movie will go in production. I don't think it will get a release in 2015 since there are already major blockbusters in the summer including Star Wars, Avengers 2, Assassin's Creed etc. Sony will release the new James Bond and Inferno in the winter already. In summer 2016 we'll get Spider-Man 3 (June 10th) so probably winter 2016. I really can't wait. It would be great if they can make it a bigger franchise.

yea this trend of movies to big game franchises will only be cool if they use the game world. by aside from that awesome more expansion of games industry

Ubisoft needs to slow down a bit. The game isn't even out yet and they are already treating it like its the most popular franchise on the planet.

Generally because one or the other has little concern of quality or either or both are rushed due to budgetary constraints.

I am not sure how to feel about this possible trend as I think games can stand on their own, but many within the industry seem obsessed with film and be equated to it.

They should make an Assassins Creed movie with Sony first. Watchdogs is second. 

Sony always had the edge to make deals for movies with Ubisoft over the competition. Chances are they will make MGS as well.

Sweet ... this has a great concept and should catch the interest of the main stream, and not just the video game enthusiasts. I believe Kaz knows what he's doing in not wanting to get rid of this section of Sony. I'm sure it will be realized in time.
