I have to say, I see some similarities (at least initially) between the boss of Link's Awakening and the Nightmare creature from Mario and Luigi Dream Team:


* Both are Nightmares of sorts (it seems)
* Both occupy a dream world
* Both (at least initially) are amorphous blobs
* Both have very similar looking eyes

Intentional?  Coincidence? I'm crazy?  What say you?

I don't see how something like that could go from the Zelda Universe to the Mario Universe. It is DEFINITELY a coincidence.

They are not similar at all, so no. Antasma has a physical body and that was his incomplete form.
Antasma according to Dream Team is a bat that in someway became evil.
