Microsoft has announced that PopCap titles Peggle 2 and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will launch first on Xbox.

Puzzle title Peggle 2 will hit Xbox One first later this year. According to today's announcement:

Launching later this year exclusively on Xbox One first, Peggle 2 propels players to the peg-popping paradise of the original whilst delivering a host of new features. Unveiled at Gamescom, Peggle 2 offers all-new levels, new and improved power-ups, fantastic multiplayer modes, gesture controls with Kinect for Xbox One, the ability to customise the Peggle Masters who host the game, and much more.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, which will offer Xbox-only features including SmartGlass and Kinect functionality, will launch first on Xbox One and Xbox 360 next spring. From today's announcement:

New features showcased at Gamescom include 24-player multiplayer action, 4-player online co-op, personalisation of your favourite plants and zombies with hundreds of unique items, plus Xbox One exclusive modes: 2-player split screen co-op, and Kinect and SmartGlass gameplay in Boss mode.

No problem here. Its EA.....EA were talking about, so that Xbox is even getting timed is a win in itself.

It'll get most sales on X1 and PS4 will pick up the scraps. MS will get the casual sales/hype and the revenue that comes with it.
