Forums - Gaming - Rare Shows Us What A Next-Gen Wave Race Would Look Like

I kept watching the video so I could time my jizz for when "wave race" was on screen. I wound up watching the entire video and I have to admit that I am impressed. Kinect 2.0 looks great!

Say what you will about wanting Kinect or not, the tech is impressive.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

It looks good, don't like the controls though. I don't have the room for that. :/

That character customization is amazing.

You don't have 1.5M or roughly 4.5 feet?

This minigame is actually called wave race, or at least it says so at around 4.40 in the video. Kinda wondering if Nintendo will react to this.

Wake Racing =/= Wave Race

Free space, no. My room is 2.5M by 4M, in which I also have my bed. I still live with my parents, I'm 17, and they want no "video gaming nonsense" in any other room than my own. So I am confined to this 'ere space. :P

I am aware of that, but I still believe that Nintendo own the IP, and I think they can react on it if they want to.

You don't need 1.5M of free space, unless you're playing a game that requires you to stand.  If when you sit on your bed, you're 1.5M  away from the Kinect sensor, then it'll work.

I measured to be sure, but I have at most 92CM between an Kinect sensor and whatever place I could sit in. So no kinecting for me :/

It's folding bed time.

http://www.architonic.com/pmsht/la-literal-folding-bed-sellex_proref/1103864

It takes up about 46 cm when folded, but when unfolded is a full-size single bed.  And you probably never have to make your bed, ever again.  Just flip the bed up.

If the wall your bed is against is a non-load-bearing wall, it could even be built into the wall if it's a stick frame wall, giving you an extra 8 cms.
