So.... Yay for indie devs?
Good to hear they're continuously making an effort to get devs on board.
Nintendo Network ID: Cheebee 3DS Code: 2320 - 6113 - 9046

Getting indie devs on board is cool and it's good Nintendo is taking these steps, don't get me wrong.
But it just seems to me like the impact of having the same indie titles that are available on 6 or 7 other platforms doesn't do the Wii U a whole lot of good.
Indie games are cheap and Nintendo is a massive company, why not finance some of the more promising looking titles? You get exclusivity that way and if the game breaks out and becomes the next Minecraft or Angry Birds, it's all yours as an IP.

As soon as that happens, the developer is no longer indie and has to live up to the Nintendo brand. Trying to manage these "free spirits" is liable to do more harm than good.

"The worst part about these reviews is they are [subjective]--and their scores often depend on how drunk you got the media at a Street Fighter event." — Mona Hamilton, Capcom Senior VP of Marketing
