Forums - Gaming - PS4 is only a more powerfull PS3: Microsoft Danish PR Guy

That's why my new nickname for the PS4 is the Xbox 720. It has GD memory like the Xbox 360, allows you to share, like the Xbox 360 , has tones of shooters like the Xbox 360, is more like a PC and the Xbox 360 the PS3, has an optimal camera accessory thing like the Xbox 360, etc.

It's not necessarily a bad thing, I do find a little bit of humor that Sony has made their new console virtually an upgraded X360 aka the Xbox 720.

And MS downgraded to Xbox 180 or Xbox 1?

The PS2 is a more powerful PS1, I enjoyed that. The PS3 a more powerful PS2, I also enjoyed that. And the PS4 being a more powerful PS3? I guess I'll enjoy that system to.

Now, now, guys. From a certain point of view he's telling the truth. The XBox One is indeed the only gen 8 console...if your name is Rare.

Anyway CVG is saying the "unique Xbox One exclusive" is FIFA 14 free for all damaged European users due the delay.

Seems to me that the Xbone is just a more powerful 360.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Looks like it's not only going to be Xbox fans that are going to be left with egg on their face. Fun times ahead folks.

The PS5 Exists.

Microsoft seems very nervous..., I can smell their fear, they can feel the ass storm is coming

Are you serious? Most of your points are... like the PS3 too. Can I try? PS4 is the Xbox 720 because it plays video games like the 360, can do HD resolution like the 360, has a light on the controller like on the 360, connects online like the 360...

You even missed the real and big ones like paid multiplayer.

kind of a "No Shit" observation to someone who had no part in creating the PS4; and is that really a bad thing? from what I've seen from U2&U3/Gow III&A/Heavy Rain/Killzone 2&3/ TLOU!!! I welcome that!!!

No bashing intended (and I usually never post in PS4 threads to bash about it, look at my history), but this is kind of true and it reflects my impressions about the PS4. (not saying it is a bad or good thing tho).

It is still a powerful machine and will be awesome for gaming; but I really thing Sony took the very-safe way by actually coming out with a PS3+. The future will tell us if it is a bad or good thing.

I didn't know the PS3 could multitask, if by a "more powerful PS3" that's what it means, then yeah. It's a more powerful PS3, and that power allows it to do stuff like Spectator mode, Share videos on the fly, open the web browser while playing, and a wide arrange of features I'm sure will all be able at the press of a button while in game or running other apps in the background. What's so different about Xbone in this regard? Absolutely nothing. PS3 is not able to take advantage of features like Spectator mode or Help-a-buddy online, it can't even do cross-game chat, and PS4 will have cross-game video! So really, what is this "PS3+" shit you're spouting here? Get real, PS4 is just as "complete" as the Xbone will be and then some.
