This would be a mistake. Hopefully they take a peek at how the Wii U is performing and opt out of producing a home tablet.

The Vita hardware is close to perfect already. Most people who own one will tell you that it just needs more big titles.

if Sony really wanted to fix up the Vita, there's 2 things they have to do:
1.give it built in memory/include a memory card (3DS has both).
2.give it more games.
it'd probably sell decently if only they did these 2 things...

yeah because that's exactly what vita needs, a more expensive model.

Adding memory: You're doing it wrong.

Unless this new model has a slider or clamshell design, it will be too big. If it has a clamshell or slider design, it'll probably have a wonky control pad and not be as good as the Vita at remote play.

There's no such thing as too big when it comes to screen size.

I highly doubt there's any legitimacy to this rumor. The PS Vita is already pretty big as it is. Making it bigger makes it that much less portable. I'm pretty sure the point of handheld systems is that they are supposed to be easy to carry around with you.

If it doesn't fit in your pocket. It will be left at home most of the time. People are going to opt the space to their phone. I can't even carry my 3ds with me. My wallet and iPod Touch use both pockets. Don't sugest the rear pants pockets. Unless you don't mind stuff falling out on the train.

75 million tablets were sold this year, enough with the portability factor. Sony can make a 7 inch vita that can be smaller than the current vita which is by current standard , huge.

make a model that makes calls too and i'm in.
