Kinect 1.0 also didn't work on the entire console. Now it does.

Switzerland was killed likely for the same reason as with PS3 distribution: PS3s mainly come from a Rotterdam distribution centre. I'm pretty sure XBoxes come from there, too. If Netherland/Benelux got nixed, no distribution from there, hence nothing going to Switzerland. (And the price is $180 more expensive so sales would have been horrible, anyways, compared tp PS4).

yeah which means they might have worked out the French canadians different accents the French French different accents.... and so on.... they might lie too.... but the concept of kinect software not being ready for every countries even the one with the same language is not completely out there.... it is very complexe to have every subtle variation being implemented properly.... you and me being able to understand each other even with differfent accents doesn't make it any more easier for the machine to compute... they litteraly have no clue what you are actually saying they just compare data input to their library and a slight variation could mess it up or just make a perfectly understandable word to the human hear of a same language speaker completely unrecognisable to the hardware....
anyway I'd be MS I would also opt to release a polished product instead of half assed one I will patch on the go... we all know the hellfire they would get if they did....
Yeah because MS is alright with people buying PS4 instead, yeah...like hell they would delay launch on any country for such nonsense.
The hell? It's not like they're dealing with new tech anymore, how hard can it be?
