Those Fanboys awesome folks at Playstation Access have compiled a video showcasing the evolution of Playstation from its humble PSOne days to the future of the PS4. It looks at Hallmark games from certain genres and shows how they have progressed over the years. Whilst it's undoubtably glorifying the Playstation name, you can't fault the video for being pretty sweet.

If anything, it reminds me how good PS1 was and how games aren't what they used to be. Alas, onward and upward.

I remember when i was young and discovering how to do the hand stand in TombRaider on the ps1 by accident and being amazed, the internet has ruined the whole secret and discovery in games since then.
I'm planning on playing numerous runs of DarkSouls 2 without looking anything up even if it means wasting or missing out on items.

This is why I always play the first playthrough of a game as Blind as possible, to avoid spoilers.

I think i will do all my first play through's blind too, assuming its a game i'm likely to play twice.
The gameplay for Second Son is looking very slick.
