Forums - Website Topics - Why can't you delete or at least lock your own threads on VGC?

That would be boring. Backfiring threads wouldn't be as fun if the OP was able to get rid of the whole thing the moment it goes wrong.

Because if you create a thread just for purely mocking users in order to relax yourself, you wouldn't then have the ability to remove evidence when reported

there is a button called edit you know

Didn't VGKing's story tell you that editing does not erase what you had writen previously? Ask Carl.

lol he edited out his thread?

When you put something on VGC, it's always going to be there. No matter.

The reason for that is so you can't erase your "unwanted" parts of you. So when people get into a debate with you, they can look back at your history and see that you've actually always been annoying/difficult/extremely biased.

(By the way, JayWood, I'm not talking about you up there. Or anyone in particular.)

That's fine.  I don't care if i can delete stuf per say.  Just thought locking your own threads would be useful and would get rid of having to ask mods to do it for you.
