All the comparitive points in your post are factually incorrect in favour of xbone

Here is a factual comparison
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=638808

Some of the more relevant bits:

Actually there is one thing missing there, the Xbox One has an Ethernet port and the PS4 doesn't. It's definitely not a deal breaker but i would have liked a Ethernet port on the PS4 aswell just in case.

As CGI said, there is an Ethernet port, what they said they don't have is an Ethernet cable that comes with it.

Ethernet Port - yes

Ethernet Cable - no

Yeah i must have mised it in the hands-on video, glad to hear.

- The Xbox has the ability to hold group video calls through the gaming console

- The voice-activated software allows a user to scroll across applications, including games, tV and music. Switching from TV to gaming to music is just like changing a channel on your tv, just with the sound of your voice

If I have anything wrong, someone let me know, as long as it is confirmed, and I will adjust it. Truth is, these consoles aren't that far apart in capabilities, overall, but the PS4 will have some graphical advantages in the end.

Very nice table.

The Xbox One Wireless Controller does not use Wi-Fi Direct.  It uses a proprietary RF-based wireless technology. (Confirmed by Microsoft's Marc Whitten and Larry Hyrb).  Most likely, this is a UHF-based wireless technology based on a relatively recent patent awarded to Microsoft.

The OS names are technically Orbis (PS4) and HyperV (Xbox One).

Xbox One's network connectivity is the same as the PS4's as listed except it also includes Wi-Fi Direct.

The Xbox One can do the following too:

- Xbox One will update while switched "off"

- Xbox One will play digital titles as they download from the Xbox LIVE.

- Xbox One will immediately pick-up any game from where you left off.

- The Xbox LIVE friend limit Is Increasing

- Xbox One charges your controller while sleeping.

- Xbox One can share recorded gameplay on social and video sites using the Upload center.

- With Xbox One you can invite an online friend play your game in real time.

Also, RAM is R A M, not Ram.  It's an acronym for Random Access Memory.  The Xbox One also has 32MB of ESRAM.

The PS4 OS isn't Orbis, it's like Dynamic or something.

And? My info is from Sony, that is from a leaked picture. Also I believe it is meaning PS4/Orbis OS, not that the OS is called Orbis.

I posted a video from Sony saying it was called Dynamic...

Wait - this crappy video done by a pr guy is your proof?! I still believe the pic more and the article. Nobody calls an OS "Dynamic". I didn't even hear it when watching the video... The guy who speaks probably doesn't even have the slightest idea what bsd is.

Any advantage is theoretical until we see it affect a game. I just don't see the benefit of the sheer volume of discussion about this.

Seriously, a more meaningful discussion is Forza Motorsport 5's graphics in comparison to Driveclub's graphics. Of course I'm sure bias disguised as personal preference would even affect those discussions.

This is really going to be an annoying gen for the forums ...

Forza wins. DriveClub is doing way more real time stuff that technically is better, but who cares what the numbers say. It was smart for Forza to bake and fake a lot of things. Looks amazing!

Digital Foundry

Sony's press shots for DriveClub look pretty cool, but despite some neat features such as proper vehicle deformation and some beautiful lighting, the low quality, blurry textures looked a world apart from what Forza 5 was achieving running at twice the frame-rate.

But you conveniently omit to mention this part:

Declared as pre-alpha code, MotorStorm developer Evolution Studios is quick to point out that the E3 build in demonstration is only 35 per cent complete.

8th generation and still static pre-baked lighting, no weather for a sim racer? It was already embarrassing last gen. 5th gen could do it, why keep stuck in the past to get shiny cars. Turn 10 needs to stop chasing the best looking press shots and make an immersive sim racer.

Yeah, because lightning is just what a race sim needs to be immersive. Sorry, but I don't belive anyone should care about the way lightning is rendered when it looks good enough, Forza looks great with pre-baked lightning(which no one would notice if the developers themselves didn't said it was) and that's what count. About weather, yeah, you're absolutely right.

For once I kinda agree. Although I like when the weather and time of day is dynamic during the races. Driving while the sun is setting is really awesome in GT5.

That being said, just because the ability to do dynamic lighting is readily available, doesn't mean every developers should use it. Sometimes, the use of static lighting serves the purpose of a game much better, with more convincing results for the particular scene, landscape or the mood needed.
