Forums - Gaming - Rockstar on GTAV: "We've considered the placement of every tree"

spending so much manpower and money on silly details is just ridiculous.
i imagine things like...oh the dogs pee on trees....so realistic omg
or the npcs sweat when is hot and get wet when it rains
that kind of stupid silly irrelevant things

Thing is, I don't need them to consider where every tree goes. I need them to make a more entertaining game than GTAIV

I'm hoping it's more like SA. I could never finish 4. Although BOGT was a massive improvement over it.

Wow, what's the budget for this game? $200 million?

What if I told you, you could have a game that was more entertaining than GTA IV, and had meticulously placed trees!?

Kind of pointless to argue when GTAV will likely sell 20+ million copies earning every bit of the money they spent on it and plenty more.

All the hard work they are putting into it will be rewarded.  So sure complain, but if attention to detail and hard work = pointless then that sucks for the company that has a "chance" to sell more than any game in the last 5 years.

If it means less bugs, then please and thank you. The amount of glitches in GTA IV compared to San Andreas was a huge improvement. I hope Bethesda's taking note.

In terms of "bugginess", how bad are the GTA games?  Not sure how you could answer this, but how about on a scale of 1 to 10?  For comparison sake where would Skyrim be?

Skyrim PS3 = 8
GTA SA = 5
GTA IV = 2

They're buggy but always playable. Skyrim PS3 bugs were game ruining and changed with every update. Around the time I stopped playing (before I got a PC), the game would lock-up on me randomly.
