Forums - Nintendo - Whos Getting Watch Dogs for the WiiU? [update]

Will U be getting Watch dogs?

Yes! for WiiU 352 59.36%

nope, im looking forward to other games 63 10.62%

Yes, but on different system 178 30.02%

Total:593

I'll get the Wii U version if it's worth it, Ubisoft treats Nintendo's systems fairly somewhat, so I guess I'd support them. Hopefully this game looks and performs better than the PS360 versions, because Jonathan Morin (creative director) somewhat hinted that the Wii U version should be better than current gen (performance-wise).

Well, it'll be better than the Wii U version graphically, though not sure if that's enough to call it the "ultimate experience".

I'll be grabbing mine on PS4 whenever I pick it up.

after seeing what Ubisoft did with Blacklist, I'm convinced this will use the GamePad for great exclusive gameplay features, day 1 purchase for me

Most likely going to be a double-dip, WiiU and PS4 because i am not buying a PS4 until Infamous comes out

Probably not.I´m just not 'feeling' this game, which in my case is par for the course when it comes to Ubisoft games. For some reason I don´t enjoy any of their games..Rayman, Assassin´s Creed, Splinter Cell, etc...all feel boring to me.

We need to start a movement to get this particular game to sell well on the Wii U. We need to let 3rd party publishers know that we are interested in more than just nintendo games. Of course if they keep on releasing half ass ports they are on their own.

"Games are a trigger for adults to again become primitive, primal, as a way of thinking and remembering. An adult is a child who has more ethics and morals, that's all. When I am a child, creating, I am not creating a game. I am in the game. The game is not for children, it is for me. It is for an adult who still has a character of a child."

if it does sell well, it would put off a good example that GOOD ports sell well on the WiiU, I'm excited for this and Splinter Cell's gamepad usage

Yeah, these next few months are critical; we're getting a bunch of third party games, but if they all flop, like previous multiplatform games have on Wii U, then we'll probably never get such support again in the Wii U's life.

Sorry to disagree but if I'm not mistaken, the  game also offer 1 hour of exclusive gameplay on ps4.

So better graphics plus additional gameplay experience could give it the edge.

I haven´t been paying attention to game releases, what are the most important 3rd party games that are coming out?
