Oh how i used to go to these websites back in days. This guy complains about the things that makes the game loyal to the old one.

It is like me reviewing the upcoming Pokemon and giving it 3/10 because i don't know what is going on. /End Rant

OT: I'll be picking it up when am done with some of the other games i am playing.

This game is better then 90% of all games that have gotten 9-10 these last 10 years

How are the reviews terrible, it has a 76 on metacritic.

Only complaint I could have is the cutscneces are nice the first time, but I can see them being annoying with multiple playthroughs (tho you can skip them so I don't see the problem).  That and the game is short (but still longer than the original).

Lot's of reviews I am reading say the controls aren't responsive and that its too hard, the controls seem fine to me tho.

 

It was $15 from the eShop here in the States.

it's hard because the original was hard.  If you die in a boss fight you have to start all over, which has happened to me 4x now.  The controls are fine, you just have to know how they work in certain areas, although I can see why they would complain, because it seems sometimes they un responsive, but it's just how the mechanics seems to work when your on certain platforms.  Its funny cause the same complaints about the difficulty are the same reason it's getting praised by other reviewers.

Yeah.It´s bringing a lot of memories back :)

It´s very faithful to the NES original...and as someone who has beaten the Souls games, Ninja Gaiden in the highest difficuty, etc...this game is kinda kicking my ass, even though it seems "simple"...another mark from the NES generation.
