90% of so called "music" these days is manufactured crap, churned out to cater for 15 year old girls and teeny boppers who just blindly follow the latest trends.

Since I discovered K-Pop in 2011, it has gotten better.

I don't know nor care about America's Pop music now-a-days. Although I did like that one Selena Gomez song from a little while ago. Don't ask me, I guess I just found it to be catchy.

Music? What music? lol

Nobody writes their own stuff anymore. The days when bands released genuine, non contrived, self written music with a profound message (Pearl Jam's "Jeremy" etc.) are over.

Yes, they have a factory where those "stars" are assembled.

Any period before auto-tuning.

This decade up until now is a little better than the last decade. 2000-2010 was unbelievably dreadful. Anything before 1990 still beats this decade by default though, and most stuff from the '90s too. 70's was the best decade.

Internet hate has plagued minds across the globe in an unbelievable manner. The easiness on jumping the hate bandwagon is impressive.

Just because you don't like a type of music people doesn't mean it sucks. It's just not for you.

In the late 50's and 60's "Nigger Bop" were despised as an unclassy and teenager rebelious music. Garbage.

Now we know it as Rock N'Roll and it is present on almost every radios.

Older Jazz lovers in the beginning didn't like Funk as it was not mature classical.

Just because music of our preference is not dominating the airwaves doesn't mean everything went to *hit.

I hate auto tune.

I cannot find anything good from any era of chart music. Not the past, not now.

Instead of complaining about the auto tune, it'd be nice to see people do some research and find there are plenty of good artist out there that are not in the mainstream. We are blessed with the internet, use it to find artist you like rather than complain about the big artist little girls like That's the target market for MTV. Don't get me wrong, I love pop music but with the numerous music sites out there I have found plenty of bands I love that don't see the light of radio or TV play.
