As a fan of both Nintendo and Sony (love my PS3 and 3DS, don't have or currently really want a vita or wii U) I have to say NO. That may change if Sony radically alters their strategy. But they should not be rewarded for their current strategy in the handheld market, which is to push mainly re-makes and spin-offs onto an expensive piece of hardware. Those have their place, but the core of the library should be true exclusives designed to take full advantage of the system from the ground up. I don't see that.

I wouldn't expect for Vita to pick up. I think it's already too late at this point.

I'd say it definitely has a chance in Japan, where it's already doing decent numbers, and where games like God Eater 2 and a future Monbster Hnter could propel it to success.

As I don't own a Vita and don't plan to, but do own a 3DS, my answer is hell no. I cannot imagine a place worse than the Vita is in.

Japan sales are at 12.4mil with less than 3years on the market and without MH4 or a pokemon mainstream game! I know Vita doesn't have the games yet but MH user base will be heavily on 3DS so a vita title would help but majority will hve it on 3ds already. Vita doesn't have 2mil users yet in japan (maybe end of Oct or GE2 release). There is no way 3DS will lose to vita, even if 3ds stopped after 2013 :0
