exactly, two games WITH MARIO =/= MARIO GAMES.      mario= 3d and 2d SUPER mario that releases once per console.

but of course many will just say that any game with mario on the title are the same franchise just for trolling. it's not like mario party/kart/golf/and luigi... are different franchises, oh wait.

Kind of one of the reasons i'm done with Pokemon. It's the same experience for me everytime, so i've decided to just let it go.

the idea of two versions spawned cause they wanted to use the link cable as good as possible. And giving the versions different exclusive pokemon was a good idea for them to make trading appealing ;)

I don't think you can really count the Pokemon spinoffs in order to make the "every year" argument. Nintendo milks the series hardcore, but at least they're changing X&Y up a small amount. Even though those "innovations" should have been done 10 years ago, it's still nice to see.

I'm not a fan of either game.. Good to know I am not a hypocrite
