This is closer to Japanese prices for games but this is still a rip-off.

I sold my extra unopened copy with art-book right before E3 (from fear that they would either reprint the game or put it on Eshop) for 127$.

That's a tidy profit on a $50 game.

Indeed, when I heard it was only going to be sold at Gamestop and a limted run I took a chance by pre-ordering a second copy. I expected maybe a 20-30$ profit, but as you can see there is a demand for the game with even used copies going for 80-90$ on ebay.

Former something....

Nintendo botched the US release of this game so badly. I'm just glad I was able to get my copy for $40.

my local gamestop have a few at that price and sold out immediatly

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

This is why I am waiting for an E-shop version, alternatively it will simply be a game I never get round to playing.

I'm not paying £50 for a 3 year old wii game. Especially not based off word of mouth alone, because I'm not exactly sold based by the way it looks alone. I'll just wait till X.

Selling your copy of Xenoblade Chronicles isn't a way that supports Monolith Soft, so I say: Serves you right.

Nintendo is no longer printing the game. Attempting to curb used games sales now will do nothing. Nintendo has now made it very clear that the one new, interesting IP they have is worthless to them.

I needed the money at the time.

So a game with long lasting value at $90 is something to complain about while the recent games that you bought for $50-$60 and didn't last over a month are perfectly acceptable?

Your pitchfork is aimed in the wrong direction.

I needed the money at the time, I didn't use that money to buy games.
