I'm with you.  I totally prefer passive 3D, the active, especially on a DLP is just all jerky jerky to me.  I stopped going to many cinemas because they put in DLP's (even quality ones in the middle of Hollywood! Dang nabbit.)

The flickering kills the fun.

But on my friend's Passive 3D 240Hz, we played some Halo: Anniversary and it was really cool.  But I haven't played enough to know if I would use it most of the time.  I think I would.

Yes, with glasses.  Haven't really seen the glasses free tv version, only read about it.  Of the 2 types of glasses required, i like passive(non battery powered) the best.  THey glasses are light and the 3D looks great.  Have to have a really good TV though.  I got a 70" that runs 240hz, so 3D works great on it.

The only time I ever played a game in 3D is on my 3DS.
And I'm not a fan of it.

I love gaming in 3D, its why I bought my 3D TV.

But it has to be Active Shutter glasses, TVs with passive glasses look terrible.

The 3D in the 3DS is great. It only took half an hour to get used to. It does add an extra depth to the way your brain perceives the environment and as such is preferable to traditional 3D gaming.

After all our brain actually works in 3D mode !
