Balderdash!
Odin sees what you did there.
Finally I have a Nintendo Wii U. Well, I have to say first there's a big disappointment: As I live in a house with two floors, the modem and router on the upper floor and my consoles on the lower floor, besides gaming I can't use any other service of the Nintendo Wii U because the wifi connection is too weak. I guess I have to buy a wifi repeater, means another 40 - 80 bucks.
It's strange because I have very good connection on the lower floor with my mobile phone, with a tablet or with a notebook, why do consoles have such weak wifi capabilities? Does anyone now? Because I have the same poblem with my PS 3 (solved it with Devolo Powerline Adapters but they aren't compatible with Nintendo Wii U) and Nintendo Wii (I actually have a weak connection there but I don't play online with it anyway).
Don't they think about people having a house with two or more floors? Or do they think they have enough money anyway for a second modem + router or any other expensive solution? I really don't get it.

The Wii U has 5.3 GHz Wireless N, so it can only do short distances with 5.3 GHz Wireless technology, until someone improves on 5.3 GHz tech someday.
Happy (late) Christmas everybody & Merry Kwanzaa!
Just to quick note to let you all know that I'm coming back from my break from the forum.
Mummelmann's reply will be posted before the end of the year should all things go right.
Then I talk to JGarrett about Malstrom & other things.
From there I will talk with impertinence. I like his viewpoints on this thread & I want to discuss my arguments with him.
After that it's up in the air. Let's keep this conversation going.
Expecting BIG things from Wii U in 2014. The turnaround will become apparent to all in the coming year.

After being almost irrelevant for most of the year.
We'll see how it goes next year: to see if the price drops and new games that seem to have made it jump in sales for Holidays keep it going during the first months of the year and then how it holds once the PS4 launches there too.
Please excuse my bad English.
Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070
Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.
