Should they have been released by now?

If we don´t hear anything, we know things weren´t good.

We normally hear something year, it's v weird.


Last year (or year before) 3DS did 250k, and they still announced it. Last year Wii, WiiU, DS and 3DS all did under 550k, still announced it. This year Wii + WiiU may be low but 3DS is probably 700k+ by itself so that's something you'd have thought they would brag about.

MS sold 760k 360's last BF, ONE and 360 are probably on par with that so again, odd they havn't said anything.

Thats how marketing works. If Sony comes out with a press release and say: Heyho! We sold 2,1 million PS4's as of dec 1, Microsoft certainly most likely will not come out with a press release stating they sold, say, 1,8 million as of dec 1. They'll just say nothing. This means we prolly will have no choice but to wait for NPD:(

They don't need too, black friday press releases are for ... black friday, in the US, where most certainly Xbox 360 sold the most


 I wouldn't be too sure of that just yet.

It has likely beaten every home console handily. The 3DS, that's more doubtful.

When are these numbers coming anyway? It's almost time for vcghartz to post up their own for that week. NPD isn't very far away either. Vgchartz appears to be tracking fairly well in Japan and NA, Europe has seen some major adjustments lately, I'm expecting the usual post-holiday adjustments to be bigger than usual, percentage wise, that is.

That's actually how the Wii U concept was formed. They put a screen on the zapper and liked it a lot.
