im actually talking about game freak deciding, because people are saying not all pokemon have this ability to do this, so is it a certain type that can mageevolve, do ALL pokemon in their final stage have the ability to megaevolve?  im probably over complicating this. lol



There is no specific thing, not all pokemon will do it, they'll pick which ones, meaning there is a chance that not ever starter will get one!

I reckon this sounds stupid. I makes it seem like their running out of ideas and more like digimon

Really? Some pokemon like Amphros/Absol needed to be competitive and now they are. Pokemon with 3 stage evolution that are useless or not seen in competitive can now be with Mega Evo! Imo it will help certain pokemon, add new elements to the game. If you dont like Mega Evo, simply dont use them. Pokemon isn't taking from Digimon, its not like there isn't new pokemon cuz there are. If anything they are ADDING Lots of variety to the mix. They had a choice of making a 100 new pokemon or 100 new pokemon and Mega Evo's. So its not running out of ideas, unless you think you have a better solution? :/

Wheres NinPie at, im sure this will make him happier about the situation.
seems there really rare and in competetive battles you lose ability to hold an awesome item like leftover, choice scarf etc. I doubt many of them will be uber... Well Blaziken will be though

Well said, the way people were making this was like they were all going to be Mewtwo lv (BST of 660 O.o). Anyway it'll have some rises in stats and downfalls! WE'LL SEE SOON ENOUGH
