I know its not confirmed but I would be shocked if we didnt see remakes of Pokemon gen 3. FireRed/LeafGreen and HeartGold/SoulSilver both sold in the 10-12 million range. How well will RedRuby and BlueSapphire sell? I think they will release in 2015 or 2016 and sell at least 8 million and possibly over 10 million.

I think what gives the Pokemon series an advantage is that many people buy both versions, so it counts as 2 sales. Are we including digital sales as part of the prediction?

I will personally buy a copy of the game everyday until it goes out of print. (Unless they muck it up with certain things. *Cough*MegaPokemon*Cough.* Other than that though...)

And I agree about people buying both, especially for parents getting the games for there kids. They will get one version for one kid and the other version for another kid.

Remakes sell higher than third installments. And with it being 3D obviously and on a roll after pokemon X/Y i see it doing 10mil minimum, but as far as how high i think it can pass heartgold/soulsilver! My prediction as it is now would be 10.5mil

Ruby/Sapphire seem to be the black sheep of pokemon so thats why im not sure it will sell over 10 milliom like the other remakes

dont forget there was no connectivity between Other gens, thats wat it was. Now it'll be in full 3D. And new Mega Evo's can change the game tremendously!!! O.o! You can get torchic and bring it to Mega Blaziken
