Just a quick question, personally I never use the 3D because it hurts my eyes and it drains the battery.  Also whenever I turn it on I don't see 3D, idk if something is wrong with my eyes, but the picture doesn't look 3D to me.  I just bought the 3DS for the games, the 3D feature has no influence on me buying the system.  So what about you guys, do you use the feature?

Not often, maybe 10% of the time. Ill usually check it out once or twice on each game but for the most part I turn it off.

Certain games yes, others never.

Starfox 64: Yes

Luigi's Mansion: Yes

Fire Emblem: No

Rayman Origins: No

Barely. Most of the time I leave the slider to just slightly on for the extra vibrance. I'd use 3D all the way if only it weren't for that pesky sweet spot. =[

Most of the time I just leave it on and I don't get headaches or eye strains luckily

I turn it on once in a while just to get that "ohh, it looks nice" effect, but I usually turn it off after like 2 or 3 seconds when my amazement passes by.

It's kind of funny, because 3D doesn't seem to be the selling point for the 3DS, so Nintendo's next generation handheld could be another DS-like system with a nice gimmick (4DS?) and it'll still sell like crazy.

Rarely do i turn on the 3D and IMO its a pointless feature for the handheld and im not sure if it even drives any sales because the games themselves would sale with the feature or not. Im sure they will bring out some games that use this feature more in detailed but atm its just a unused button on my 3DS 90% of the time

I wonder how much the 3DS would cost without the feature.

for some games yes ( paper mario for example), for others (like fire emblem) nope.
