That was to be expected. They've been flooded with preorders. Even the WiiU preorders (at least in Germany) couldn't all be processed on launch day (Amazon made you wait until the middle of December if you preordered too late IIRC), so this really was to be expected from the PS4 with all the hype surrounding it.
