I wish all these facts didn't encourage MS to keep making JRPGs. It' s great Western RPGs what we need. I have no problem let PS3 dominate in JRPG (Though i see Wii is doing some steps in this field). All this Hype for LO and just a good game? I better wait for Witcher (360) and Fallout.

@Kyros, you are in my mind. MMORPG are the official death of the genre. LOL to all these hardcore PC users who opposed consoles and they killed classic RPGs with their own hands with their never ending grinding and leveling.

What makes me laugh is I always hear about jRPG's and how they have a story formula and how it's boring. Yet the same reviewer might love a Halo or Resistance and make no mention of it's formula despite it also being completly formulaic.

Yeah we play the games for different reasons but story is a constant, and should always be taken note of. I can sum up nearly any FPS in a few short scentences. The world is ending/Company leaked a virus/aliens/monsters attacking/terrorists/war started save the world/universe/city/building from the threat you are a scientist/commando/random tough guy. Kill the aliens/zombies/mutants/terorists/nazis before they can destroy everything! How is that not a formula and how is it not worse than the jRPG's? at least they tend to have decent filler into the formula..

I wonder are you referring to this commercial, and if so I totally agree with you. I think it would be a tragedy for the game not to have that particular advertisement on the game disc somewhere. I can't believe I said that, but that video just gets you so stoked.

Looks like a decent game, as a JRPG fan, I'd buy it, but then again, I don't have a xbox. so... sorry Microsoft (publisher)
