There are so many great games coming out this year Watch Dogs, Assassins Creed 4, Super Mario 3D world, Legend of Zelda (3Ds), Madden 25. They could all be in the list. Its a great year for gaming!

both gta5 sell more than pokemon x/y O.o  to each their own i guess lol, i forgot battlefield will be big and gran turismo will def be top 10

I think sales between those two games will be extremly close but I forgot that there might be a pokemon X/Y bundle at least in Japan. If this bundle is true and also releases in NA then I could defiantly see it outselling GtA.

there is a bundle, first time ever for a pokemon launch as well. its confirmed for japan only so far

Well sense theres a bundle in Japan its highly likely there will also be one in NA sense Pokemon will release on the same date this year. Yeah Pokemon will probably be number one this year.

even if pokemon is your #4 i think your underestimating it. JUst to ask how much do you think your top 5 will sell each? i see GTA5 on PS3 definetly as #1 or #2 for sure

Why would that be underestimation? CoD 360 sells 10m+ per year. What are you expecting for Pokemon? 

I would say from 8 and up to 10m this year for it.

I am not sure that GTAV will top CoD either, although I hope it will. I'm not sure the PS3 version of GTA will sell more, either. They will be really close, though, and the PS3 version will outleg the 360 version no matter which sells more at launch. 

GTAV PS3 = 10.5m

GTAV 360 = 10.3m

CoD 360 = 9.8m

Pokemon = 9m

CoD PS3 = 8m

no doubt that but wont X1/PS4 bite off some sales since people will buy thatfor there consoles? also i believe it was stated that pre orders is less than previous years right cuz of next gen? but then again you might be right i see pokemon doing a minimum of 9mil but i think it can do maybe 11-12mil as well and if true that can place it #1 however GTA5 will be a beast for sure! i kno the gamepn both systems will be the least 10mil o.O

They will bite off some sales, which is why I have both CoDs lower than last year's . It's hard to get the exact ranking right, because the top 4-5 will probably be very close.

I'm really curious about GTAV sales. They are hard to predict, since the last one released in 2008 when the userbase was very small compared to today, yet next-gen is almost upon us and might have an effect (although I doubt it - see TLoU sales).



its crazy cuz COD has next gen coming so its hard to predict but we kno its going to be lower for sure, GTA5 like you said will be hard(agree with your reasoning) and pokemon x/y since this is 1st global release+Lower user base compare to last gen. But its much more hyped than last 3 gens. Also at least in japan, first time ever there is a bundle O.o

I think putting Pokemon X/Y on top is a safe bet. After all, it's a WorldWide release this time.

You should be good with that.

Can't decide on CoD and GTA though. I want GTa to be bigger but truth is that CoD is really front loaded. The rest of the top 10 depends on Wii U and 3DS sales as well as whether or not Battlefield was well received by the public. Even if it has, even CoD sales have declined so we can't know really. AC should end up above LM though that's for sure.
