played the demo.. wasnt to satisfied with the game, i expected more

Bought it day one for $60 and loved every second of it. Played through it multiple times and bought the DLC that came out recently. Got the platinum. Game was amazing.

It has flaws, but is has an old school charm and level design that simply is not seen by any other corridor Gears/Uncharted/CoD type shooter today. Plus the perfectly tuned twitch style gunplay and the AI, while not terribly great, can be challenging at times.

Seems blatantly clear their deadline came up and they rushed the last sections of the game but still one of my favorite games of this gen.

And for the record Borderlands to me is an uninspired "soulless" loot game. In terms of the gameplay anyway. Loot games should be about the random loot factor, being able to find a gem anywhere at any time. In Borderlands the best loot spawns at a couple locations, so spending any time anywhere else is just a complete waste. And once you get those great weapons it's like you're God squashing ants. Where Borderlands certainly beats Rage is the work that went into the game world and the characters. But I will take the game that plays better any day of the week.

Game was being prepared and designed before the gen started. If Rage had come out earlier people would've been far more impressed but the standard and bar was raised. Same issue happened with Perfect Dark Zero. Halo came out and Perfect Dark fell behind. It didnt have the luster it had during the Goldeneye days and Rare wasnt a complete team. I can barely look at Bioshock any longer unless its on a PC. Its just not as nice looking as it was earlier in the gen.

Brought this game really cheap months ago still haven't opened it.

Im trying really hard not to switch over to Max Payne 3. I just bought that on PSN for $7.99.

I thought it was an awesome game? :(( one of my all time favs things will starting getting better trust me! if your only 2 hours in.

Oh then just stop and head over to Max Payne 3 its a fun action game and the mp is fun and funny as hell. 

All my friends are playing it. I was thinking about getting it and finally finished the download. Im having some serious trigger finger here switching between so many shooters. I definitely need to get a Nintendo this gen, theres too many shooters.

I know, but they primarily just focus on adventure and I like that from time to time. Sony has given me some truly great experiences. Maybe some light hearted experiences will change my mood.Perhaps I need to play some Sly Cooper. Last of Us made my mood rather gloomy while playing it and its still damn addictive with the multiplayer. I just added Joka and we will be play multiplayer in a bit.These shooters have been coming at me like a freight train. With Nintendo you don't need to worry about these heavy hitters all the time.
