Like the title says, I think the home console series that I'm just gonna call Pokemon Stadium is over and done with. It's been a whopping 6 years since the last Pokemon Staduim game, which was Pokemon Battle Revolution for the Wii. That's right, they didn't make a new stadium game for the 5th generation, and we're about to head into the 6th generation. I'm betting this was in part because of the sales, but I'll have to look into that later as I already started making this thread. Silly me! But anywho, the main purpose of the Stadium games was to see your Pocket Monsters battle it out in glorious 3D. However, the 6th generation of mainline Pokemon games will be doing this aswell since the games are now full 3D, so there's really no point to the stadium games anymore. X/Y was probably in development or at the very least being thought of with 3D in mind during/prior to 5th gen, so that's why there was no 5th gen stadium game. They likely felt it better this way, cause if you wanted to see 5th gens in 3D, you'd have to buy X/Y instead of a stadium game. So these are just my theorys. What do you all think!?
EDIT: Just checked, and PBR did indeed sell less than GCN's Pokemon Colosseum despite the Wii's 5x greater install base.
