Blasphemy! But to entertain it, I'd be a PC man and complement it with Nintendo systems (as usual). I'm a gamer first, so like the SEGA guys I'll just adapt and continue gaming on the hardware that would address my needs (hypothetically speaking). Oh and I'd cry cry cry.

All sony fans would have to come over to X1, if they want the same amount of graphics ( yes you could just get PC but whats stopping you know?). I really hope that doesn't happen. Then I will have to pay out my ass for HD gaming. Sony keeps things cheaper for me as a gamer. I can't stand them but they are a necessary evil, LOL. However I own both nintendo and Xbox. However back on point. I guess I would have to just fight with myself. I love nintendo, I think mostly for nostalgia. I love the new Dk Country on 3DS. Also I like that the Wii U can be played as others watch TV. This works for both my lady and I.

Considering Sony's identity is largely attributed to third party ips, any large corporate conglomerate could fill their shoes. Samesung, LG, etc. The common myth that PS did something different or bought gaming to the masses, is bollocks. All Sony did was enter a thriving market and rode the wave of globalization. They also planted the seeds for the destruction of console gaming allowing similar practices to the crash of 83 to rear their heads again/ Particularly allowing thirds to release whatever crap/shovelware they want on a system.

I may have been a Nintendo fan growing up, but I had love/respect for Sega as they were a pure gaming company. Can't wait for another gaming crash, this industry deserves it.

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

Yes, agree 100%.  If you quit gaming all together because one gaming company leaves the business, you really weren't in it for the games in the first place.

Well for one most PS fans would go to MS since they like em more than NIntendo. That's for sure. Than we will have the East vs. the West or something like King Kong vs. Godzilla (I love this movie). It will be the most epic battle of all time. Honestly I rather have MS leave. I don't like them anymore. Sony at least has a large exclusive library that spans 4 generations I can get on their classics store.

I also would like to know that the original PS did not expand gaming at all. Only in Europe but in America and Japan things were the same.
