The price of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD has increased at Amazon. Last week, the game was listed on the online retailer for $49.99, but it now costs $59.99 – the standard price for most Wii U titles. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD is a remake of a game that was originally released over 10 years ago on the Nintendo GameCube. It will include new features, like the ability to play the game off-TV on the Wii U GamePad, and the ability to take in-game pictures to share with Miiverse users. The remake will be released in October.


I still plan on buying it day one... what about you guys?

Guess I should have pre-ordered before it went back up. Meh.

Eh...oh well. I was expecting to shell out $60 anyway. I do personally feel that $50 is a better price for the game, but it's no big deal.

Meh this is a little expensive. Most HD compilations cost 40$ and usually include multiple games. Why this this one cost 60$? Or this is a full remake rather than just an upscaling?

Dang knew I should have pre-ordered it.

Gotta love their pre-order price guarantee, you would have gotten it for $50.

All the textures and animations are the same.

Known glitches from WW remained in the shop demos exactly as in the original.

A bit more:

- New harder diffculty mode.

- Improved dynamic lighting and shading.

- Some items can be controlled with motion controls if wanted, Bow and Wind Baton are some mentioned.

- A new sail item comes mid-game that allows for faster travel, also crane is shorter for faster treasure hunting.

- Some small tweaks to gameplay, less tedious Triforce collection was one mentioned perk.

- Off-TV Play and Miiverse.

- Tingle Tuner item has been replaced with the Tingle Bottle.  The Tingle Bottle will also be used with Miiverse as a message system.

- Pictograph is now also able to post screenshots to Miiverse.

-Touchscreen serves as a map and inventory

Should be $40 or $50, but Ill probably still pick it up since I never played the original, if I had played the original I'd probably pass.
