Looks like it was an easy win for the Broncos in the second half. Time to get some mindboggling stat out there: Peyton Manning is on a pace to throw 112 TD passes this year. Unbelievable.

19/24 got the season opener right, unlike last year when it was the opposite after the Cowboys' surprising win.

There was a reason why I said the above.

"6. Peyton Manning is on pace for 112 touchdown passes this season. This makes Madden's simulation of 43 touchdown passes seem a little less gaudy. At least Madden realizes Manning still has trouble winning in the playoffs. Manning also goes for 5,323 yards."

I know the NFL.

*Sigh* the media loves Peyton so much if he only goes to two Super Bowls and only wins one in his carrer it is not enough., Stupid media. No other Quarter Back is held to suck a high standard. Why???... Everyone love him.

When I had cable and ESPN started going into Madden simulations, I changed  the channel and wondered what the world has come to. Has EA moneyhatted ESPN that hard, or has no one in Bristow ever actually simmed a season of Madden and realized how freaking random the games and stats are?

I don't even know what you're trying to say here. I suspect you don't either.

ANYHOW, my local games this morning are SEA@CAR and OAK @ IND. Very glad the Raiders game isn't the only one on; they look better than I expected, but only because I figured it'd be 35-0 by now. The Panthers are also doing better than I expected, with the differnce that they actually look like  competent team. I may have undeerrated them.

Autocorrect errors. smartass. Why do I even bother to post here? No one does

For the same reason spurge makes any thread: someone has to generate content!

So the Colts and Seahawks didn't look as sharp as I expected, but at least they won. The Bungles went and bungled it (what happened there?). The Jets aren't as inept as I thought (and/or the Bucs suck). The Jags are who we thought they were. The Bills are circling 'dem wagons, and the Browns are still the Browns. Anything I missed?

Yeah boy.... DA BEARS! Hahahha rol.

Rolllllll I screwd up! I thought I picked sf not GB.. If not too late please switch.

The Steelers are awful, that's what you missed.

Plus Reggie Bush on the Lions likely means that they will be a much better team than last year.

Ah yes, their mediocrity blotted the Steelers from my mind. Thanks! Did they end up getting any points beyond the safety?

As for the Lions, they could hardly be worse than last year. It's the Vikings I expect to fall the most this season. Although they should still have won this one...
