You, clever man.

Hating the game before It's already released? Come on guys, at least let the reviews and sales soak in.
Between this, Dead Rising 3, Forza and Killer Insctinct there's plenty of love for the XB1 at launch. Not to mention those gorgeous looking multiplats.
Hope more is shown at Gamescom.
It's just that simple.
Wasn't this the game where at e3 the person playing couldn't fail? Even when doing nothing the game played on?
For a game you can't fail, that makes me hope this one does.
Can't wait.
The game looks so cool.
Best exclusive launch title since Wii Sports.
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I think Knack has a shot as well...
which is abolutely saddening, because i love the Pixar-esque artstyle ....T.T
I think that this game has the potential to be one of the best games next generation. Their is so much you can do with Rome, a story based heavily on politics, betrayal, the senate, and manipulating the the political system in order to do what you want. Then their is the roman warfare, with sieges, using heavy weaponry and a big emphasis on strategy. Adding to this rpg elements like a loot system and customization as well a slow paced/realistic combat a bit like demon souls would make the Rome experience so much better. Their idea of the Colosseum is amazing, it maybe hints at 1vs1 "boss" battles during the single player.
From what we saw from the e3 demo the game looks meh, with an exaggerated character, combat that is too faced pace with quick time events and a weird camera, but the developers themselves said that they had to scrap a demo for the show.
I think the end product will be good, yet leaving room for improvement.
| Slimebeast said: I love the ancient era as a setting but this game just sounds so bad on all fronts. Reading that description ("Fact sheet" lol), it seems written to the 10 year old, so clichéd and simplistic and typical of Kinect. Read between the lines and you smell a developer who is aware of his game being very weak. I perdict a 62% Meta and huge sales flop (~200K). |
Imagine if it was an action rpg, realistic combat paced like dark souls, choice like the witcher, a dark story, exploration like skyrim, and a lot of customization as well as a good loot system. And all of this in a roman setting, i want this so badly!
