The fault? 

It's because of Nintendo initial failure of concept, NOT execution and NOT because of the lack of games which are just the result of the initial decisions.

And then because of desillusionned people (can't used the f*word in VGchartz) who still blindly support them and try to rationalize and find reasons why the Wii U is not selling....

I honestly can't understand your English OP. I think you should work on improving it before trying to argue and complain over something or someone.

Now, I'm no Nintendo fan for a long time now but that's ridiculous. Shipped doesn't mean sold and this time around in a positive way. Nintendo obviously overshipped before and that's what you get now. In fact the Wii U might even be undertracked here because I don't think Nintendo has two months of stock even with the console struggling.

But alas, since people like you are the majority over the internet, these doom articles always pop up on the wonder that is gaming journalism.

Well, that was expected. A system without games dont sell. There was a gap of three months without games. They should have released games in regular time interval. But I think they can fight back with proper games.

Technically WiiU sales were bad and technically we are talking about shipments. Shipments are likely low due to unsold stock from the previous quarter so the numbers we are seeing above don't necessarily represent the sum total of actual sales.

Don't get me wrong, the figures are abysmal regardless but we already knew that was going to be the case and nothing in the figures from Nintendo was going to change that. Turnaround for the WiiU, if it does happen, was never going to happen in Q1.

Furthermore not supporting a system because it's not selling well is a little bit silly.  If a system has games or features that you want why wouldn't you buy it, regardless of it's popularity?

Finally this is not proof that the WiiU is a failure of concept versus lack of games, it's simply proof that the WiiU is not selling well.

here is the problem that i brought up on the other thread. People are interpreting sold as sales to the consumers and not shipping

I think it would be much more fair to judge the Wii U after MK8 comes out.

This report says 500k -> "Wii U is doomed"
This report says 160k -> "Oh it's just shipped, Wii U's fine"

I told you guys... retailers are stopping to make order of Wii U consoles.

what paradox, no one is saying Wii U is fine.

Sales are slow, so why woudl you expect huge shipments when there is still unsold stock.
