*only on the 360. PS3 and Wii release dates set for September.

"Some potentially bad news has cropped up for folks who like to rawk. Well, it's bad news for folks who like to rawk, who have been waiting for Rock Band, who live in Europe and who don't own an Xbox 360.

It's good news for Xbox 360 owners, however, as rumour has it that MTV/Harmonix/Electronic Arts' Guitar Hero challenger will be released for that platform in May. Other consoles will have to wait until September (that's 'Setembre' in Euros)."

well thats good atleast it isnt to late in the year(for 360 owners)

 *raises eyebrow*

Wii port launch launch month confirmed?

You guys/gals will love it!

Great game....officially has dethroned Guitar Hero in every way...yes, even single player. Guitar Hero career is guitar only---Rock Band, you can play single career as a guitarist, then a drummer, and then a singer....many more hours of enjoyment.

And new downloads constantly. Which I believe is BETTER than just releasing a new game (Like Rock Band 80's) because you can pick and choose which songs you are willing to pay for--instead of paying full price for 15 songs you want and 35 you don't.

Anyhow, it was MY game of the year---over Mass Effect, Halo 3, Bioshock, Uncharted, CoD4....all of them. I've literally spent over 250-300 hours on this game.

September!? WTF!

Seems like MS brokered a great deal with EA! Should help the X360 sell well even during the slow period in Europe.

Could be a great-seller on the X360 - expecially with a 4 month head start.
