I couldn't agree more, but the only way for this "Triple A" slump to die off (Nintendo, EA, Sony, Activision ....UBISOFT!!!) is for the industry to crash. I believe Titan Fall and I think Battlefield 4 cost alot to develop which is where this 80 bucks a copy is coming from. The industry need to crash, it gotten too big for its own good.

Yep then hopefully we will see more JRPGs since they are deemed to expensive to make.

I want to see more games like Ratchet and Clank and Sly Cooper that isn't Nintendo. I want more platformers, I'm so bored of realism and shooters.....but complaining won't do anything.

Errrrr... why are you lumping Nintendo in with this when Dyack is talking about huge budgets?  Nintendo typically has fairly small teams and reasonable budgets.  Zelda is the only franchise with a huge budget, and even that's small potatoes compared to games like Call of Duty and Skyrim.  Nintendo really doesn't adhere to the AAA business model.

Because of sequels and lack of new IPs, but that could be my personal opinion. As much I'm excited for the next Zelda, I wish they'll just end the series and move on. :/

That's kind of irrelevant to the article which was about game budgets expanding to monstrous sizes.  Nintendo's whole MO is keeping budgets down.

pff just because he couldn't cut it in the AAA space. Couldn't even run a decent Kickstarter campaign...

Yes, but sequels is also a big issue as well, not only from a budget stand point but a gamer stand point as well. Skyward Sword was a dissappointment from a selling point of view compare to the other Zelda games, New Super Mario Bros U was a failure to, though they could had made a profit off off them if the budget is low who know. This could be a sign that people want to see something new that defind Nintendo.

Stop complaining and start buying the good non-realistic and non-shooter games then.

I believe the whole gaming community need to stop complaining, and I do but I'm just one guy. My wallet won't change a thing. I just learn to live with it.
