We have it updated! And I usually have the same problem with another friend when trying to send messages. Still the video calls work so... it's really weird xD. 

The funny thing is this weird things happen to us xD. We used to have this kind of problem with messenger, yeah... MSN xD (Although with less frequency). 

I only ever use it to chat to my friends who use Facebook as their main messenger. Too many people on there are just there to whine it seems.

You keep in touch with people you dont normally see.

That in itself isn't necessary, but its something most of us just do.

I disabled my facebook account about 5 days ago now, and i dont intend to go back to it any time soon, my real friends can contact me via phone or skype.
Its been a good change to avoid all the moany bullshit which filled my timeline

I go on facebook constantly, but I'm really only ever checking for notifications or the occasional status update or contacting of someone. I'm almost never just spending hours browsing it. I do need it, though. There are some people I have to get in contact with that I can only contact through facebook.
