From Capcom End Of Year Financial Report : Worldwide Sales

Sales to Dec 31st 

- Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles (Wii): 950,000 units sold
- Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure (Wii): 300,000 units sold

This games did far better than tracked I think. Also, not that Z & W saw a realease in Europe only in January and is performing very well here (expect over USA + Jap sales combined)

Capcom very happy with sales of both game, but also of Devil Kings 2. Disapointed in We Love Golf and Mega man star force 2. 

 MotoGP 07 (PS2): 280.000 units sold
Monster Hunter Freedom 2 (PSP): 270.000 units

Expectation until march 31st

- Devil May Cry 4 (PS3/Xbox 360) Worldwide : 1,9 M units (raised from 1,8 M units)

- Monster Hunter Freedom 2 G (PSP) 900.000 units (Raised from 500.000 units)

There is no way I'm trawling through the forum each time I post something to see if someone else has posted the same item.

I would expect one of the 17 mods to delete or edit it as appropriate.

Yea Zac and Wiki WAY undertracked... VGC only had Z&W at like 130k at the end of dec... It could be as high as 370k sellthough by now(assuming these numbers were shipped of course)

This basically also confirms that UC is near or at 1 million by now.



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Ok... for one thing, Capcom uses SOLD TO RETAILERS and not SOLD TO CONSUMERS as their way to report their earnings which is what we should expect since Capcom makes their money this way and not the other way. So the numbers are all in line with what we should have expected.



Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

1.9 million shipped is their Devil May Cry 4 expected numbers eh? Seems like they are a lot less bullish then a lot of members here.

Still nice to see the adjusted for the Japanese success.

this is as of Dec 31. 2-3 weeks before it was released in others where it has sold 70k, and also it has been selling about 4k a week(according to VGC) in NA, so that is a least 90k of sellthough not counted in these numbers.
