Forums - Microsoft - Xbox One Accessories Up For Pre-Order

The Xbox One controller can now be preordered on it’s own through retail stores. More importantly but not all that surprising, the price is confirmed at $60. You can preorder the Xbox One controller from Best Buy, Amazon, Gamestop and the Microsoft Store for $59.99.

You can also find a bundled controller w/ Play and Charge kit for $75 on the Microsoft Store. The play and Charge Kit is $25 separate.

The official Microsoft Xbox One Chat headset is also available for purchase for $25.

The Day One edition 12 Month Xbox Live Gold card featuring Day One bonuses can be had for $60.

Basically the price goes up slightly. Controllers increase to $60 from $50. The Play n Charge kit increase from $20 to $25, as does the Xbox One Headset.

The Day One Xbox Live Subscription card includes Killer Instinct with an exclusive character.

At least Xbox Live price stayed the same.

Aren't we going to get a one year Gold with the console?

I kind of expected the headset to increase and the price increase is reasonable to me.

Surprised by the controller price increase, but if it lasts than it's a good investment.  My original Xbox 360 controllers lasted for the entire timeframe I owned it.

Not really bothered by the Play n Charge price, but I hope it gets awesome charge life.

You'll need to check your pre-order bundle.  The standard bundle only includes a 14-day trial subscription, however some bundles do include a one-year subscription.

Lucky for you I went through 5 controllers with my 360 so far I expect to go through another 2 before I get the Xbox One.

How? o.O My two original controllers are still working. In fact, they work better than those two from the Halo:Reach limited edition!

I play a lot of shooter games. Most of the time the analog sticks will cease to function after about 9 months. But I don't mind buying a new controller.

I doubt there are other analog sticks more raped than the ones in my two Xbox controllers, but hey! The one's of the Reach version did indeed malfunctioned after one year. Whenever you slightly move them left, the stick is stuck and the character of the game moves left. It can be pretty annoying at platformers.
