Some theaters will pick them up if the right company localizes it. Most recently, the Full Metal Alchemist movie was in a ~100 theaters in the US .

there's a bunch of hilarious articles there XD i remember one where they said Iwata punched a shareholder guy or something for telling Nintendo to go third party and make IOS apps.
