Well my PSP Go runs a good 6-8hrs just for games, and longer for videos and music, so I never really noticed any issues with the battery life. Personally why I think it's the best console created (aside that my PSP Go's modded so I'm able to play PSP, PS1, SNES, NES, GB games) is the fact that it's a portable AND home console in one. I believe this should be the future of gaming but that would eliminate both markets (home and portable) into one market. I've been playing Kingdom Hearts BBS & Crisis Core on the go and when I get back home I put it on my charging dock that's hooked up to my TV and use my PS3 controller to continue playing it on the big screen. This eliminates the whole PS4/Vita crossplay. If they can just create a more powerful handheld in the future that can handle multiple controller connectivity for local multiplayer and better online support. (not sure how well is the Vita's but if its similar to PS3 with friends list etc..) then that would be perfect, along with bigger storage/mem cards. |
Truth. I think I'm gonna get a similar dock for my PSP Go - which is what I had prior to the 3000 (along with the 2000 to rip UMD's), that PSP Go is now with my girlfriend, who loves Dissidia 012 among other things.
Battery lasts long enough if you manage it well enough - perhaps I'm not frugal enough
The color and image quality of the 3000 far outweight its occasionnal visible scanlines.
And I owned both a 2000 and 3000 PSP.
Go for the 3000 model.
The 3000......why? Because you can use this. Turns it into a full fledged home console much better than the official cables.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

I'm sure no-one is interested in this anymore, but on the off-chance anyone does read this:
I got my PSP today. I found a brand new PSP 3000 model on GAME.co.uk for £70, in a "Buzz Brain Bender" bundle. Genuinely couldn't believe it when I saw it so I just ordered it and thought I'll return it if there turns out to be some catch.
Came today and there seems to be no catch. It was brand new & sealed; it's definitely a 3000 model and it came with a sealed UMD of Buzz. Pretty impressed, to be honest, since I was going to spend £50 on a used model.
Got lucky with it too, since it went out of stock the day after I ordered it!
TO THE UMD's!
