Well my PSP Go runs a good 6-8hrs just for games, and longer for videos and music, so I never really noticed any issues with the battery life. Personally why I think it's the best console created (aside that my PSP Go's modded so I'm able to play PSP, PS1, SNES, NES, GB games) is the fact that it's a portable AND home console in one. I believe this should be the future of gaming but that would eliminate both markets (home and portable) into one market. I've been playing Kingdom Hearts BBS & Crisis Core on the go and when I get back home I put it on my charging dock that's hooked up to my TV and use my PS3 controller to continue playing it on the big screen. This eliminates the whole PS4/Vita crossplay. If they can just create a more powerful handheld in the future that can handle multiple controller connectivity for local multiplayer and better online support. (not sure how well is the Vita's but if its similar to PS3 with friends list etc..) then that would be perfect, along with bigger storage/mem cards. |
Truth. I think I'm gonna get a similar dock for my PSP Go - which is what I had prior to the 3000 (along with the 2000 to rip UMD's), that PSP Go is now with my girlfriend, who loves Dissidia 012 among other things.
Battery lasts long enough if you manage it well enough - perhaps I'm not frugal enough
