Forums - Gaming - Which console has better FPS? 360 or PS3

PS3 and the 360 has Bioshock. I played the three games on my PS3 and are the only FPS I could really enjoy. So I say PS3 but I don't really care that much for FPS unless it's Bioshock .

Ps3 has Haze, so it wins.

Never heard of Haze.

What about 360 because of Gears of War, Halo, and the main CoD seller? Even thought Gears is third person.

Haze is pure art. It is the Halo Killer, and the only reason it failed (financially) was due to poor marketing.

Not even Gears of War, which is a RPG in third-person perspective could beat that.

I'm a bit bias in this category. I really like the Killzone series. It's probably the only AAA FPS series i've ever truly cared about, but I do like Halo as well (just not as much).

How can it be a halo killer if it did not come close to killing anything but itself?

Not cool. If it wasn't for this for this horrible game, Free Radical might still be around to make Timesplitters 4. But now they're at the hands of Crytek, they'll forever be stuck making dull shooters for them.

OT: 360 is the obvious choice for FPS games.

That's what happens when you get too much arrogant and hype things the wrong way.

Ehh.. I wasn't much on gaming websites back then, so I wouldn't know about that.

It's a damn shame though because they are definitely a talented bunch.

That's totally true. Future Perfect was a joy of a game, and a blast as a co-op experience!

Never got to play Future Perfect :( though, looking at some of the reviews on Youtube it looks fan-fucking tastic (might have to pick it up for my still functional PS2).

Saying that, I adored the first two games. The multiplayer is some of the most fun I've had in an FPS I've ever played. Years on.. I still remember the comedic moments in multiplayer, the outlandish weapons, character rosters, game modes, map maker etc. The games were just pure fun.
