Forums - Gaming - NVidia Shield to hit retailers first week of August

I think there is also a shield store app that allows the user to choose from some optimized games for the devices, and in the future if this device and others like it pick up more traction we will see some more dedicated AAA titles. Even still streaming is an ideal option for a low powered device

What games does it play? Kinda pointless if it's just mobile games

borderlands 2, bioshock infinite, metro last light... the list goes on...

Not really portable solution to PC gaming unfortunately as it requires Wi-Fi connection to connect to your computer and for your computer to have a GTX 650 or better. Could be a good idea in the future though

I absolutely meet all requirements listed and can't wait to try PC game streaming.

Also, why do people ignore Android app store and pretend its not something they are interested in. They have like 500K apps, emaulators and games, some of which are awsome. And all and dirt cheap pricing... This to me makes this handheld a lot more versitile than 3DS or PSVita.

I wouldn't call this a tablet...

I knew about the emulators and i tried a SNES one but they aren't simple to use and these old games don't seem right with just a touchscreen to control them.

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030
