So one thing Nintendo is known for is their unique controllers, I'm not gonna go through the NES and SNES controllers because honestly I did not own them when I was a kid and only played them at my cousin's house, so I'm not in a position to critique them.
N64 Controller - I love the N64, it gave me some of my favorite games of all time, but that controller is awful imo. Now eventually I did get used to it, but it took a long long time. I feel like it was designed for someone with 3 arms, I was always adjusting the position of my hands while playing. I did like all the different colors and types the controller came in, I remember I got a clear, purple controller when I was a kid and thought it was so cool lol. Putting the rumble pack in the back did not help either when I was a kid with my little hands.
Gamecube Controller - Personally I think the GC controller is one of the best controllers of all time. It fits perfectly into my hands and I really like the design for the triggers. I know a lot of people don't like the 2nd analog stick, but it was never that big of a deal for me.
Wii Controller - Personally the only time I enjoyed using motion gaming was for Zelda, I didn't like it for any other game. I will say though the Wii remote and nunchuck do fit comfortable in my hands, its just after playing a game for a certain amount of time my arms got tired from me swinging them over and over.
Wii U Controller - I do not have a Wii U yet, I will get one by the end of the year, but I have only heard positive things about how it feels. I have heard repeatedly that it feels really comfortable, which is surprising considering how big it is. Those of you that have a Wii U comment on how it is.
So personally I think Nintendo controllers can be hit or miss, but when they get it right they nail it. I think the N64 was just a special case. Also I did not mention the Pro Controller because I have never used it, so if you have it, how is it? So on a whole what do you guys think of Nintendo Controllers?
