Forums - Nintendo - A biased review: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros.

Biased reviews are the best. I am encouraged. I will pick this up later.

I was waiting for this review.

And I can say the wait wasn't not worth it. I think biased reviews is the new fad considering how nice this ended up.

Good job, Rol. (Now to find money so I can buy the game...)

Thanks Rol! Great review. It is on my list to check out and it sounds like it is worth it.

rol, stop with this nonsense and go make us a proper rol thread!

Sounding good :) Tbone51 will be happy haha

Note to myself: I need to cut down on the boring crap for the next review. This got a bit too long for my liking.

Which part would you consider boring crap?

The opening was only a little too long, for my liking. That's about it, though.

i tried it out today, its great even though i hardly did anything since it was a demo!

The core of the game part. I am not really a fan of overly descriptive review text. Should be more about how much fun the elements of a game are.

True. You did get quite technical at times, but that's what many people want from reviews. The nitty-gritty of the game.

Well, did you think it was a fun game? Going off the score, it seems so.

The Giant battles suck hard. Especially the special attack that hardly ever wants to register an Excellent for me. Really annoying in the coliseum battles where you only have limited turns and almost have to be perfect on every single attack. And the freakin' game doesn't even have a soft reset! Everytime the stupid controls don't do what I want them to, I have to quit the game through the home menu and boot it up again, just because those idiots from Alphadream didn't include a function that should be standard for every game.

No soft reset? How in the world could you forget such an easy thing? Did Bowser's Inside Story and Partners In Time have soft reseting?

Still... you thought it was fun, right...?

So what score would this have gotten if it was unbiased :P
