Wonderful 101 could use a toy line or cartoon, Bayonetta a comic, X an anime series

I think perhaps Nintendo needs to bring their big guns in to tie to games that suffer from a lack of exposure but are great games in their own right. Animes and a toy line are decent ideas too, but lets really leverage the Nintendo fanbase.

Lets say there's a promotion that if you buy any one of Mario 3D World, Zelda: WW HD, or DKC: Tropical Freeze, you are eligable for 30% off The Wonderful 101 on the eShop.

Lets say 1/20 people take advantage of this offer and 8 million people purchase Mario 3D/Zelda/DKC during this promotional period. That's 400,000 sales for Wonderful 101 just off this promotion.

For a game like W101, that's a big bump. Now you have at least 400,000 people who have enjoyed W101, which can be the basis for building it into a decent sized franchise.

Thats a good idea and is basically free advertising, my ideas were if they try making the series huge but is unlikely.

Another thing is replicate the promotion they had in Europe, So Many Games.

Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, Wind Waker. If u buy 2 of them, get the third for free.

If u buy Wonderful 101 at full price, get Luigi U for free

I honestly am so scared about games like Bayo 2 and X because of the Metroid Prime commercials which were...lackluster.

Nintendo has a hard time making commercials for mature games look good.

Metroid Prime commercial was straight up dope. I don't know which commerical you were watching.

I do agree that they usually have trouble marketing mature games. The problem is: they don't even market them at all.

Be mostly talking bout 2 and 3 rather than 1.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

other game i see very potencial but i cant see selling much is splinter cell blacklist
the gamepad usage seems to be the better among the games already released.
I can see a promotion from ubisoft like: buying 2 of them: watch dogs/assassins creed/rayman legends/just dance, take splinter cell for free.

With X they could always refuse to localize it for North America until people dance and beg for it first. That seemed to work wonders for Xenoblade.

Bayonetta and Wonderful 101 are lost causes, though. People are simply allergic to buying Platinum's games. I guess they could try changing them to Marionetta and Wonderful 101 Marios if it's not too late.

I laughed a lot harder at this than I should've. Seriously though, don't do it, Nintendo! X is easily my most anticipated game on the Wii-U right now, and I'll probably end up buying a Wii-U just so I can grab it day one.

But didn't Okami for the Wii sell decently well? I guess that wasn't technically Platinum Studios, but most of them made the original, so that counts for something, right? ... Right?

Hmm
