Personally, no. Fuck those realistic snorefests.

But I think it will be good for them. Just don't let that interfere with the development of games that are actually fun.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! That would be such a waste of talent. Nintendo (for the most part) makes great games set in charming fictional worlds. Simulation games are fairly boring. The only ones that seem fun at all are hockey and soccer, and i'm just into those sports that much. Their take on sports games are alot more fun in general and should be what they continue to do in the sports arena. Although i will say i never have and probably never will buy one of those titles. Only sports game i've bought in the last couple of generations is nba jam. That game i love.
